Good Morning World
Hyvin nukuttu yö takana, iltakuudelta kuorsattiin molemmat tyytyväisinä kylki kyljessä ja herättiin puolen yön aikaan snakille Marian kanssa joka jäi yöksi meistä huolehtimaan ja sitten jatkoimme makeita unia aamukuuteen. Puuroa, maitoa ja leipuskaa aamupalalla, kaikki meni helposti pienestä suusta alas. Ja äitinsä sai juoda aamukaffit ja leipää hänkin. Nyt pieni aurinko nukkuu päiväunia.
Kuvia tulee jahka jaksetaan.
*One night of good sleep. One nap sleeping son. One happy momma. Yesterday seems as a dream as I crawled with my last breath out from the plane to the arrivals lobby with Mr Habi sleeping in the sling and was met with a beautiful arrival committee of Karen, Laura, Dawn, Karl, Micah, Daryn, Macyn, geday, Amaya, Clay, Kevin, Gunnar, Merritt, Frank, Maria,Heidi andKirsti. Kids had beautiful signs up and a balloon! I was semi unconscious and smelly, we were smelling, I am sure, of poop and sour milk and 26 hrs of travel. Whatta relief it was to arrive!
My greatest gratitude goes to Maria who stayed overnight, bathed and fed Habtamu as I took a lonesome loooong shower and lotioned all the flee bites and Heidi who had filled the fridge with goodies and served me dinner. Soon after by 6pm I crashed in my own sweet bed. Habtamu was going to be babysat by Maria but he joined in the bedroom and we both went to wonderful sleep snuggled together. He needed unconsious constant body contact through the night, if I moved slightly he was soon next to me again. We only woke up once to eat a little snack at midnight and then both happily slept until 6 am. Good have not asked for a better night!!!!

Hopeful
*If if complished out mission we should now sighing out of relief, three hours seperating us from the arrival terminal (and the stretcher I asked for to fall on ?) and Minnie. Meanwhile the clock has rotated forward 24 full circles. Despite the time machine.
One Manila Envelope, Two Suitcases and Little Block of Time
*One hour and a half of time to complete a mission: One Brown Manila Envelope to hand over the big desk , two passports and two suitcases to show and one gate to find. Please cross your fingers people, we are tired.
Over the Atlantic We Fly
*We are in a timemachine headed over the Atlantic Ocean. After nine hours and ten minutes of flying through the clouds we have only lost an hour of time. My derrier is strongly doubting this however.
We are going home and yet both of us are getting further away from home. The Atlantic holds magic and emotions for many hearts.

Beginnings
Ehkäpä muutama puhelinsoitto Pohjoiseen Maahan...(Huomenta Mumma! Huomenta Ninni -täti! Huomenta koko maailma!) Viisi tuntia aikaa...
*New Continent, new day (it is already the early morning of the 10th over this side of the world :) ), new life.
The Dutch know our needs: showers, baby lounge...here we come. Maybe some phone calls to Ultima Thule, A place close to my heart in the Northern hemisphere?
Where Is Home?

Mykistyneenä suuresta ihmeestä sylissäni.
*Mr Captain is working on last details on the Royal Dutch Bird for this important journey. We will be diving through the African night sky, the starts and the moon to reach familiar Europe, that is waking up to a new amazing day.
Speechless of this little miracle in my arms.

YES!
Habtamu on viela sopompi livena...pitkat tuuheat ripset, hymykuopat ja
isot silmat.
Pikku herra aluksi ei ollu huomaavinaan minua vaan napparoi ahkerasti
NOKIA puhelimen kimpussa eika tullut syliinkaan. Maman onneksi lampeni
kuitenkin pian ja istuikin sitten sylissani koko loppuajan ja leikki
kaulakorulla ja puhelimella...puhelimen soittoaanet tanssittavat
kovasti.
tavattiin heidan kotihuoneessa jossa he leikkkivat ja nukkuvat. \olimme
siella aamupaivan lopussa miltei kaikki meidan matkarymasta.
Vielakin ihan epatodellinen olo, olllaan nyt beikilla quest housessa
lounaalla ja sitten mennaan uudestaan toimistoon ja sitten lapsien
luokse.
Kaikki ollaan ihan lamassa, aamupaiva on ollut niin energiaa kuluttavaa
tapaamista odottaessa.
Taydellinen poika, upea hymy ja taitaa olla nannien suosikki ja huomion
kohde....
***At least. Holding him in my arms felt perfect. Initially he was very
busy with a Nokia (U know, a Finnish brand) phone and sampling the ring
tones and would have nothing to do with me. Luckily for me he warmed up
quickly and then spent the rest of the morning in my lap until it was
time to go to sleep and even then was wanting to be held.
He is perfect in every way : gorgeous smile complete with dimples and a
funny giggle.

Live in Addis
of Northern Ethiopia :Bahir Dar, Gondar and Lalibela. All of them
amazing and so worth the travel. Bahir Dar/Blue Nile Falls were
breathtaking, the drive from Bahir Dar to Gondar was absolutely
beautiful, people friendly and so beautiful, I have zillions (lets just
say 2G card is full....) of pictures to share when I get home. Lalibela
was breathtaking, so much history, culture and symbolism in the ancient
stone churches, almost as if one was living in middle of the Da Vinci
code.
All of it simply cannot be absorbed in two days but I am glad to have
seen them even in this schedule.
Only pest was the gunatza ,the flees. The old carpets in churches are
supporting a perfect living environment and believe, they are there,
and they very are willing to travel with you further than the church
exit. Had I known this I would have been armed with flee powder up to
my eyeballs, my travel phramacy probably otherwise has all the meds
known to men. Flees or not, still worth the time, can' t wait to show
the pics.
Lalibela is a very poor town but very pictoresque: you are literally
walking the old streets of biblical times, the customes people are
wearing, the donkeys, sheep, you name it.You can almost picture Maria
and Josef taking a walk...
Although I have been travelling alone I have not been alone yet. The
guides took excellent care of me at Bahir dar and Gondar and the same
travellers kept moving to the same places first portion of the trip, it
was almost comical Oh hi there yes we meet again, are you also going to
....you wake up for breakfast and the same people you met in the
previous place are also there.
In Lalibela met some fun people (from Ireland and France) who were
taking a break from the old friend, the magic kingdom of Saudi. We
shared a terrace and a beautiful view from our rooms , red wine and
sunset, could one ask for more. (Anne et al remember those times?
LOL). I also ran into a Finnish group and have breakfast and lunch
together with them...as I had just wondered where they all are, usually
you run into one sooner or later....and sure enough there they were!
One the second day at Lalibela I also met with Shelby and David who are
adopting a little boy Mishamo 6-7 months throught the same agency and
we will be next door neighbors at the quest house, I will be there
tomorrow and them on Wednesday morning. (Two nights....it is getting
very exciting...!)
All of us flew back to Addis on the same plane. And here I am at the
Millenium hotel, battled with the computer for quite a while to get on.
The connections are slooooooooooow so my live updates probably will be
scarse unless the quest house sports a better connection. I will soon
take a quick walk around the neighborhood (well you know who is
nearby...) and then head for famous Metro Pizza and give it a go.
Next time you wil hear from may be after I meet little mister Habtamu!
:) Can't wait!!
